Murray Henderson
Murray Henderson, originally from New Zealand, is a globally acclaimed piper, renowned for his expertise in piobaireachd. Murray has won the Gold Medal at the Northern Meeting (following on with 6 Clasps) and Argyllshire Gathering, and has been crowned Glenfiddich champion 4 times. In addition, Murray is a highly respected judge and teacher, with pupils winning all elite competitions in Scotland.
Patricia Henderson
Patricia was among the first women to break the gender barrier at prestigious competitions such as the Argyllshire Gathering and the Northern Meeting. In 1978, Patricia became the first woman to win a prize in the Gold Medal category, placing twice in this elite competition. Her pupils have won Silver and Gold medals at Oban and Inverness. Patricia is now one of the most respected judges in solo piping.
