Glasgow – August 24, 2025 — At the National Piping Centre, the Competing Pipers’ Association (CPA) hosted its latest Bronze Medal piobaireachd contest. With a field of twenty competitors required to present three tunes from the Silver Medal list, the event continues its role as a key stepping-stone for pipers aiming toward elite-level contests.

This year’s results are as follows:

1st: Callum Carn — MacFarlane’s Gathering (Bronze Medal winner)

2nd: James Frazer

3rd: Norman Gillies

4th: Andrew Hutton

5th: Dan Nevans

This marks Callum Carn as the fourth overall recipient since the Bronze Medal's inception in 2022. Since its introduction, the competition has seen two winners from Scotland (2022 and 2023) and now two from New Zealand—adding Carn to that distinction.
